Getting to Namazu Lodge
From
Tokyo
Namazu Lodge is around 2.5 hours from Tokyo — an easy and scenic journey that takes you from city skyline to alpine serenity.
- Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station → Nagano Station (approx. 90 minutes).
- Transfer to the Shinano Railway Line or Myoko Haneuma Line → Myoko Kogen Station (approx. 40 minutes).
- Complimentary Transfer – Let us know your arrival time and we’ll pick you up directly from Myoko Kogen Station.
From Other Major Cities
- Osaka / Kyoto: Take the Shinkansen via Nagoya or Kanazawa → Nagano Station → transfer to Myoko Kogen. (approx. 4–5 hours total)
- Niigata: Around 2 hours by car or train.
- Nagano City: 1 hour by train or 45 minutes by car.
Driving to Namazu
If you’re driving, the route is straightforward and beautifully scenic.
- From Tokyo: approx. 3.5–4 hours via Kanetsu Expressway → Joshin-etsu Expressway → Shinano-machi IC exit.
- From Nagano City: around 45 minutes.
- Parking: Free parking is available on-site for all guests.
Tip: In winter months, ensure your vehicle is equipped with snow tires or chains. Road conditions can change quickly in the mountains.
