Everything you need to know staying with us

  • Where is Namazu Lodge located?

    Namazu Lodge is located in Shinano, within 20 miles of Ryuoo Ski Park and Zenkoji Temple, and just 4.9 miles from Lake Nojiri.

  • How do I get to the lodge?

    1/ Depart from Tokyo Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen (or Nagano bound) to Nagano Station.  


    2/ At Nagano Station transfer to the local line (the Kita‑Shinano Line) and ride to Myōkō-Kōgen Station. Journey takes about 45 minutes from Nagano.  


    3/ Alternatively, you could ride the Shinkansen to Jōetsu‑Myōkō Station (which is a stop on the Hokuriku Shinkansen) and then take a local train or shuttle to your actual resort in the Myōkō area.  


    Please email us about your arrival so we can organise pick up from Myōkō-Kōgen Station.

  • What type of accommodation do you offer?

    All rooms at Namazu Lodge are air-conditioned and include a private bathroom, underfloor heating and a flat-screen TV.

  • What are the check-in and check-out times?

    3PM check in.

    10AM check out. 

    Bag storage is available on check out and check in. 

  • Is breakfast included in my stay?

    Yes continential breakfast is included. 

    7AM - 9AM

  • What payment methods do you accept?

    All payment methods are via Booking.com / Expedia / Airbnb / or our own  site. Most debit and credit cards are available. 

  • What is your cancellation policy?

  • Do you have Wi-Fi?

    Yes, high speed Wifi included

  • Is there parking available?

    Yes parking on site. However we have no EV charging facilities. 

  • Do you provide ski storage or drying rooms?

    Yes 

  • Are pets allowed?

    No

  • Do you offer laundry facilities?

    Self Service Laundry available on site. 

  • Do you have onsite dining or a bar?

    Yes  we have a bar and dinning both available on site.  Dining is for Dinner only. 

  • What activities are nearby?

  • Do you organize tours or transport to ski resorts?

    Yes, please get in touch with the Namazu team to organise your transfers.

  • Is Namazu Lodge family-friendly?

    Yes 

  • Do you offer extra beds or cots for children?

    No, guest limits apply per room. 

    Cots available on request.

  • Do you cater for group bookings or events?
